On the 8th March the Traditional Britain Group will be hosting a half day event, titled 'Traditional Britain Seminars 2014' at a prestigious club in central London from 1pm until 6pm, followed by an evening social until late.

"The Enlightenment is the basis of modern civilisation. In terms of how they regard this, traditionalists and libertarians are defined, and define themselves, as in opposition. The heroes of one side may be the villains of the other. This being said, there is a growing acceptance on both sides that we face an enemy that is at war both with liberty and with tradition. We may have more in common with each other than with this enemy – even though it sometimes uses the language of Enlightenment rationalism. There is an old and lively debate within the libertarian movement over the possibility that free societies emerge and endure less because of abstract propositions than because of the nature and values of the people in those societies. The purpose of this seminar will be to explore what place traditionalists think there will be for individual freedom in their vision of a recovered Britain."
