The Daily Mirror reluctantly printed a tiny retraction for their prior claim that Traditional Britain Group Vice-President used a slur when discussing Doreen Lawrence. We at the Traditional Britain Group call for a Press Complaints body that is not staffed by The Left and which will stop the press from constant defamation. 95% of the population cannot afford to enter court for libel and defamation and need a body which will call a halt to this filth.
On 31st January 2018 the “Daily Mirror” ran a defamatory article attacking one of our Vice-Presidents, Gregory Lauder-Frost, based upon “information” fed to them by the communist group Hate-not-Hope (sic).
In this article the on-line headline ran “Vile racist rant by Far-Right Tory” based upon the allegation that he had called Doreen Lawrence a n*gger. The article was beefed up to associate him with other so-called “fascists” etc. Mr Lauder-Frost made a formal complaint to the new Press Complaints body, IPSO. Without going into the exacting detail, he stated that he did not call Mrs Lawrence that at all, that he made no comment which could be regarded as “racist” (insulting left-wing terminology) and explained to IPSO the Oxford English Dictionary’s definition of a rant: “to speak or shout at length in an angry, impassioned way”. This was simply a fantasy as Mr Lauder-Frost has never ever behaved in such a manner. He had, in fact, been having a totally private conversation as a courtesy with a Swede posing as a student. Unbeknown to him the Swede was Far-Left and recording it. In Mr Lauder-Frost’s complaint he stated that this equated to deceit and deception. IPSO maintains that they will act when deceit of this nature is involved. That is evidently a lie.
IPSO turned down his complaint, their refusal to him, which we have seen, is dressed up as though a Far-Left journalist had written it. In fact this demonstrates that IPSO is no better than the old Press Complaints Commission (PCC) it has replaced, and, like them, is simply in collusion with the newspapers in upholding their continuing defamations, libels and smears of people. This was demonstrated when “The Independent” in August 2013 carried an article by a Far-Left Channel Four journalist accusing Mr Lauder-Frost of being a “Nazi-sympathiser” because he had spoken out against wartime aerial bombardment of defenceless civilians (as had Viscount Halifax, Bishop George Kennedy Bell and others) and liked various forms of German culture. (One imagines by this that all those who read Schiller, Goethe, et al and listen to Beethoven or any other German composer are clearly “Nazi sympathisers”). The PCC turned down Mr Lauder-Frost’s complaint against “The Independent”.
We see here that these bodies are made up of people on the broad Left and acting for The Left as only such people would not see the glaring injustices presented here.
Today, 5th September 2018, the “Daily Mirror” has published a retraction, in tiny print, on page 2. In this they accept that Mr Lauder-Frost did NOT call Doreen Lawrence a n*gger. Just as he had protested since 31st January. They accepted they had been ‘fed’ incorrect information. What about the rest of this disgraceful article?
